My career in automotive marketing started in 1995 when I joined Auto Trader as an independent outside sales representative selling print ads to automotive dealers. Over the years I've helped automotive dealers generate more leads by educating them on how to write better vehicle descriptions. As the print industry started to decline and the online marketplace started to grow at a remarkable rate, automotive dealers found themselves in a very competitive market, advertising a vehicle online took on a whole new skill set. We now look at Detailed Page Views (DPV) to rate the success of a vehicle ad. Fortunately for me, while at AutoTrader, I had inside information on some of the best performing independent and dealer group dealerships in Canada. I've been trained and have seen first hand how properly marketing both new and used inventory can increase DPV's which will increase the conversion rate. I have been fully trained on Dealer.com and Dealer Smart Solutions as well as Auto123's platform. My training includes custom page building, creating custom slideshow images, creating parts and services specials along with Search Engine Optimization to help websites perform better, reading analytic reports and social advertising.
